29JanUpdate - Damage After Storm EowynAs a result of the storm, we sustained damage to the roofs of over 80 properties, most of them tenements. In addition to this there are a great deal of fences and some trees that were blown down.
We are concentrating our efforts in the first instance to repairing the roofs but will get to the fences and clear fallen trees from land we maintain as soon as we can.
We would like to thank you in advance for your patience and reassure you that our repairs service is operating as normal.
23JanBIN COLLECTION SUSPENDED ON FRIDAY 24 JANUARY 2025WDC have suspended all bin collections due tomorrow, Friday 24 January 2025 due to a Red Weather Warning. WDC have requested residents do not present their bins tomorrow for collection. If your address is on our Close Cleaning Contract and our Contractor normally puts your bin out for collection and has already done so, please can you pull your bin in, if you are able to do so – as our Contractor may not be able to do so tomorrow due to the Red Weather Warning.
23JanRED WEATHER WARNING – FRIDAY 24 JANUARY 2025Due to the Red Weather Warning on Friday 24 January 2025, Knowes HA have decided to cancel office appointments and home visits arranged for tomorrow for safety reasons. We are unsure if the office will open tomorrow however staff will be working from home. Please contact us by telephone or email info@knowes.org, however we will only be dealing with emergency repairs tomorrow. Please ensure that your bins and outdoor furniture and toys are secured or safely stored. Thank you and stay safe.

24DecUpdate from West Dunbartonshire Council - Christmas Bin Collection ScheduleWDC have advised that due to workforce resource challenges the previously advertised Christmas bin collection schedule has been changed. Residents whose normal collections fall on public holidays over the Christmas period (Wednesday or Thursday) are now asked to present their bins as per the updated schedule.
