Reckless and Dangerous Dirt Bike Driving in Faifley

The Association has been contacted by residents regarding the disturbances caused over recent weeks by the dangerous and reckless use of dirt and quad bikes throughout the estate. We have been dealing with a number of calls relating to this issue and would like to confirm that the following action has been taken:

We have lettered all residents within areas that have been experiencing the worst of this antisocial behaviour asking for information to identify those responsible. At present we have not been able to find the culprits to allow us to take action against them or their family’s tenancy. In addition we have contacted the Police on a number of occasions asking for help to deal with what is a criminal matter.

We will continue to do this and have raised the issue with the Chief Constable of West Dunbartonshire. When those responsible have been caught by the Police we will also take action if they are a tenant of Knowes HA.

Should you be experiencing problems relating to this matter please contact the Police directly on 101. If you know who is responsible also let the Police know, you can do this anonymously if you prefer. You can also pass names and addresses to Knowes HA and we can pass details on to the Police in confidence.
