Your Community, Your Choice

The Communities Team are working alongside Greenspace and the Health & Social Care Partnership (HSCP) on this pilot approach which will be focused on improving walking and cycling routes in Clydebank.

The available budget is £100,000 and the Communities Team are encouraging groups and individuals to take part and influence how this budget is spent..

Further information, guidance and application forms can be found here:

https://www.west-dunbarton.gov.uk/participatorybudgeting

As well as the opportunity to have a direct say in how a portion of Council budget is spent, those submitting ideas will receive full support in completing their Idea Form from the Council’s Communities Team.

Once all applications have been received, residents will have the opportunity to vote for their favourite ideas online early in 2021. For further information, or to discuss your idea or application, please contact the Communities Team at empowerment@west-dunbarton.gov.uk

We are also inviting Clydebank residents to get involved as Budget Delegates. Budget Delegates will play a key role within the Project Team and the Your Community: Your Choice process. They will work with Council officers to help turn the ideas people give us into proposals that will be put forward for voting, and to ensure that citizens are involved at all stages. Those interested should contact empowerment@west-dunbarton.gov.uk
