Common Cleaning Contract Specification

 If your common areas are included within Knowes Housing Association’s cleaning contract, you will receive the service detailed below.

On a weekly basis the contractor will brush and mop the close, sweep pathways and take bins out for collection and return.

On a fortnightly basis the contractor will also sweep and tidy the bin shelter.

On a quarterly basis the contractor will also carry out an intensive clean of the close which will include washing of the common close windows.

We have also started a weekly bulk uplift service that will remove any discarded bulk items left in the back court areas of those tenements receiving the common cleaning service.
