24DecUpdate from West Dunbartonshire Council - Christmas Bin Collection ScheduleWDC have advised that due to workforce resource challenges the previously advertised Christmas bin collection schedule has been changed. Residents whose normal collections fall on public holidays over the Christmas period (Wednesday or Thursday) are now asked to present their bins as per the updated schedule. The office will reopen, with normal operating hours of 8:30am - 5pm, on 3rd January 2025. For emergency repairs only, contact West Dunbartonshire Council Building Services on 0800 197 1004. 27NovOffice reception undergoing refurbishment this weekThe office reception area is undergoing a refurbishment this week - the purpose of which is to improve the layout of the reception area for visitors to the office. There will be some disruption whilst this is going on. We would ask you not to visit the office unless you have a pre-arranged appointment with a member of staff. The office will be open as usual to receive phone calls and emails. We apologise for any inconvenience caused.
12NovWhitehill Play AreaWe are carrying out some necessary upgrades to the surface area and play equipment in the Whitehill Play Area. Please note that whilst the work is going on the play area will be out of use.
We would therefore kindly request that you do not allow your children to access the area until the work has been completed and we apologise for any inconvenience caused to you and your family during this period.
